"There was immediately, simply awareness of your presence and subtle movement of energy
as you were working. As I relaxed more deeply and allowed my natural barriers down, I could
then feel the energy from my extremities was moving toward my core. The energy felt like a
double helix, two cords intertwined moving upwards. My butt became very warm and I began
to sense the presence of other light beings in the room. At this point there was also very subtle
communication in the way of mind to mind. Their message was positive, even personal at times.
Communicating thoughts such as, "we are here" "trust" "yes" "follow your heart." the more
personal message was spiritual direction. I also felt them moving quickly in the energy work
"hurry we do not have much time." Upon completion of the session, I did not feel much difference.
I do believe this work is very subtle and working at higher levels of awareness, which can easily

"I am lying on the table and Paul is very quietly walking around me. Although he does not physically touch me, I feel some very distinct energy, wavelike, starting at my feet and moving up to my trunk. While he walks around me the energy waves continue to, yes, massage me. I remember that I lose sense of time. When he tells me that the time is over I feel refreshed. Sitting up, I have a certain sensation around the place where my heart is located, something that makes me say, "Ooops!" (I had a heart catheter some days before your treatment.) "My experience with Reconnective Healing has been quite positive. Although everyone's experience is different, mine was very rewarding on several levels.
In August 2009, I discovered a benign tumour in the left lobe of my thyroid. The tumour measured 3.5cm and was particularly uncomfortable. Since being diagnosed, I have tried many different forms of therapy and have found some success in each. Reconnective Healing is one of the modalities I have tried to date, and my tumour has reduced in size since my initial session. Moreover, the session itself was very profound in many ways.
Paul was an excellent practitioner. He allowed for me to do my own research beforehand, and made it clear that just as each person's life journey is different, so too will be their experience of Reconnective Healing. Before the session, he was extremely thoughtful and focused, without instilling in me any expectations. I believe this is important for authentic results.
During the session I could feel energy surging through different parts of my body at different times. I felt very sensitive to what Paul was doing. "My own experience has been interesting and I will want to do the reconnection in the future. Presently I am enjoying feeling 'recalibrated', much more stable, and my distrust of my body which began with the illness seems to be ebbing.
